Hey! I'm Cherry

I am a third year Media Studies (focus on Information Design) and Computer Science student at the University of British Columbia.

I discovered UX design (officially) in my first year in uni. It perfectly mixed tech and creativity, which is exactly what I was looking for. I started to attend hackathons and designathons (and won some :)

Looking back, I realized that in my past experiences, my studies have always been around users and people for many years. Coming from a media studies background, I've learned to pay attention to how culture, storytelling, and platforms shape the way we see and interact with the world. I bring that perspective into design by focusing on real experiences, thoughtful decisions, and solutions that feel grounded and human.
